Guide 1: Subscribing to Local Inventory
Overview
This guide will walk you through subscribing to the ShoppingFeeder Local Inventory service. This is the first step in setting up local inventory feeds for your physical store locations.
Prerequisites
- Active ShoppingFeeder account
- Store connected to ShoppingFeeder (Shopify or custom integration)
Subscription Plans
ShoppingFeeder offers two Local Inventory subscription tiers:
Basic Plan
- Cost: $30/month
- Trial: 15-day free trial
- Suitable for small businesses with limited locations
Premium Plan
- Cost: $0/month (included with ShoppingFeeder Premium package)
- Full access to all Local Inventory features
- Recommended for businesses with multiple locations
Step-by-Step Subscription Process
Step 1: Access Local Inventory Service
- Log in to your ShoppingFeeder dashboard
- From the left sidebar, navigate to Manage Services
- Click on Inventory Locations
Step 2: Review Service Information
On the Inventory Locations page, you’ll see:
- Service description and benefits
- Available subscription plans
- Pricing information
Step 3: Start Your Subscription
- Review the plan options (Basic or Premium)
- Click “Start FREE trial” button to begin your 15-day trial (for Basic plan)
- OR – If you’re on ShoppingFeeder Premium, the service is already included at $0/month
Step 4: Confirm Subscription
Once subscribed, you’ll see a confirmation message and the service will become active in your account.
What Happens After Subscription?
After subscribing to Local Inventory:
- The Inventory Locations service is activated
- You can begin configuring your store locations
- ShoppingFeeder will be ready to generate location-specific feeds
Trial Period (Basic Plan)
During your 15-day free trial:
- Full access to all Local Inventory features
- Set up unlimited locations
- Generate and test feeds
- No credit card required for trial start
- Cancel anytime during trial period
After the trial period ends, you’ll be charged $30/month unless you cancel.
Upgrading to Premium
If you’re on the Basic plan and want to upgrade to Premium:
- Contact ShoppingFeeder support
- Upgrade your main ShoppingFeeder package to Premium
- Local Inventory will be included at no additional cost
Important Notes
⚠️ Platform Requirements: Ensure your e-commerce platform is properly connected to ShoppingFeeder before subscribing, as inventory data needs to be synced.
⚠️ Location Data: Have your Google My Business store codes ready before proceeding to the next setup stage.
Troubleshooting
Issue: Can’t find Inventory Locations service
- Solution: Ensure you’re logged into the correct ShoppingFeeder account and that your account has the necessary permissions
Issue: Subscription button is not active
- Solution: Verify your store setup is complete. Some services may require full store configuration first.
